It's Cold Out There

o obviously for a lot of us it is winter time.  Winter = coats & a lot of those coats = ugly bulky things.  I know because I use to have to wear those ugly bulky suckers in order to stay warm.  This year I refused to give in; I absolutely abhor those puff jackets. If you have any kind of meat on your bones it freakin makes you look like the State Puff Marshmallow Man.  So seeing as I refused & I seriously needed a warm coat I took my time searching.  I don't know about any of you but I buy most everything off of Ebay, saves time & money.  Why go to a million stores when everything you need is at the tip of your fingers.  This year I found the perfect coat.  The coat I've been searching for my entire adult life.  A Camel colored wool double breasted coat.  It was sold a year ago at the Old Navy stores.  Mine was worn maybe a couple times so it was in great condition (of course or I would have bought it)

This is similar to my coat but mines a tad darker

So since I finally found my happily ever after coat I thought I'd share some coat ideas for those searching ladies out there.

Checkers are big this year (very B.W)

Bright colors as well (B loves yellow)

Toggle buttons are hot

Nice color & nice length

I love how girlie this is

Plaids are mad hot this season as well (Forever 21)

(forever 21)

I prefer grey over red (Forever 21)

Love this; reminds me of Hello Kitty (Forever 21)

Capelets I kinda like them (Forever 21)

My favorite (Old Navy)

More of a rain coat than a coat but it would work

This is a great time to purchase a winter coat. A lot of stores have coats on sale after Christmas; even tho winter just started.  I have many more coats to show but everything is in folders by store; I just wanted to share a handful.  Forever 21 has many adorable coats at affordable prices, Lulu's, Charolette Russe and don't forget Old Navy.  For the ladies who have curves & a large is a bit small there are stores for us as well. Old Navy has a nice selection of coats, Lane Bryant occasionally can be counted on, American Eagle even has a few things for the curvy figure.  I just want to say that just because you aren't a tiny lil thing doesn't mean you can't dress the way you want.  I might not suggest wearing skin tight items & belly tops but you can still dress to the nines.

Don't forget to accessories ladies, jewelry & purses are our friends.
